Most families choose to make monthly payments. You can also pay the entire balance up front or make advance payments if you choose. The Band Booster organization appreciates families that are able to pay in advance as it makes it easier to meet our obligations to our instructors and show designers and to pay for equipment needed throughout the season.
HOW DO YOU KNOW WHICH AMOUNT TO PAY?
• If your child is a first-year participant, they are a Rookie.
• If your child is a 2nd, 3rd or 4th year participant, they are a Veteran.
• If your child is approved for a Band Booster scholarship, you pay either the Veteran or Rookie **scholarship** amount depending on their experience level.
• If you have multiple children in the marching band, you pay the full or scholarship Veteran or Rookie amount (depending on Scholarship approval) for the first child, then pay the Sibling Rookie or Veteran amount for additional children.
For example, the Simpson family has both Bart and Lisa in marching band. Bart is a junior and in his 3rd year of marching. Homer and Marge pay $729 for Bart to participate because he is a Veteran and paying full-fare. Lisa is a freshman and going into her first year in marching band. Homer and Marge pay $323 for Lisa to participate because she is a Rookie at the Sibling rate.
• If you have questions about the scholarship program or need help understanding the assessment system, speak with Band Booster Treasurer Faith Orr. You can reach her by email at bbfvtreasury@gmail.com.
Veteran marching band assessment total = $729
Veteran full-fare monthly payment = Five payments of $122, One payment of $119
Veteran scholarship marching band assessment total = $387
Veteran scholarship monthly payment = Five payments of $65, One payment of $62
Veteran sibling marching band assessment total = $323
Veteran sibling monthly payment = Five payments of $54, One payment of $53
Rookie marching band assessment total = $789
1st year (rookie) full-fare monthly payment = Five payments of $132, One payment of $129

Rookie scholarship monthly payment = Five payments of $75, One payment of $72
Rookie sibling marching band assessment total = $383
Rookie sibling monthly payment = Five payments of $64, One payment of $63
You may also pay in some other amount so long as you are at the minimum TOTAL amount due each month. For example, if you have a veteran paying full-cost you may pay $244 in May and then wait until July 1 to make another payment since you have covered the amount due in June with your May payment.
I indicated I would like to know more about the scholarship program in my online registration. How does this work?
The Band Booster Treasurer will reach out to you with information about the requirements of the scholarship program and a contract. Please contact by email at bbfvtreasury@gmail.com if you have any questions.
